What is a Personal Operator?
A Personal Operator is your agent in the Flow Research system. It is a persistent, configurable, and secure entity that works alongside you — executing tasks, interfacing with tools, and acting on your behalf within the boundaries you set.
The four Flow Research products exist to make the Personal Operator possible:
- Jarvis gives it life — the runtime that spawns, configures, and secures it.
- Garden gives it a workspace — where you and your operator collaborate.
- WorkStream gives it valuable work — tasks routed, verified, and rewarded.
- Harnessy makes it reliable — testing, evaluation, and feedback loops.
Who is it for?
Flow Research builds Personal Operators for people and enterprises. The products are the systems that deliver them. Contributors to Flow Research help build these products — writing code, designing protocols, testing reliability, and shaping how operators work in practice.
Why it matters
A Personal Operator is not a chatbot. It is a long-running, accountable agent with access controls, compute, and a defined scope of work. It can be deployed for individuals, teams, or entire organizations. The curriculum teaches the skills needed to contribute to building this infrastructure.
